Botanical garden Hespérides
The garden Jardín de Las Hespérides is a botanical garden located in the center of Valencia. The garden means the Garden of the Hesperides. This name he owes to the myth of the Hesperides (The guardian of the golden apples). By this is meant that the plants that are there are the gems of plants.
The garden, was opened in the year 2000 with an area of 4,700 square meters, is presented as a “private garden”, whose fence is punctually opened at the sides, inviting the passerby to enter the landscaped space. The layout shows the property as a collection of garden space that is blurred by the vegetation itself.
